A watercolour of a prima ballerina dancing the role of Cinderella. This is at the beginning of the ballet when Cinderella is in the kitchen dreaming of a better life and of course going to the ball! I loved this simple pose in different shades of cornflower blue and indigo and sepia tones for the the warmer tones. A Derwent Ambassador I used a selection of beautiful Derwent watercolours on their Inktense paper.
