On one of my walks along the Thames, I stopped to look back towards Chiswick Bridge. The tide was well out, the river receded to a stream along the middle of the riverbed. With the banks exposed there emerged an unexpected beauty from the pools, rocks and greenery left open - what is normally hidden under the water.
The brightness of the day and the clarity of the sky made for a great scene, with the trees and shrubs reflecting in what water was left in the river. And Chiswick Bridge looking on in the background.
