In this series of works I express my passion for watercolors. For me they are a technique of immediacy, of the ability to grasp the aspects of reality in an instant, restoring an equally sudden, fleeting image. They are portraits of people that are made alla prima.
In this case I was inspired by the tender and protective gesture of a mother on the beach who had just given the little girl with wet hair a towel since the wind that was rising had lowered the temperatures quite a bit.
These watercolors are made bright by a passpartout and a white frame
