A large-scale drawing on canvas.
While visiting the local park, or was it a hill near the cemetery, I came across the ancient chestnut tree. It was early in the spring, the grass was fresh and it felt so comforting under my feet.
The leaves on the chestnut tree were sprouting and the little leaves were still resting in beautiful candle flame-shaped sprouts. The tree appeared to be reaching its branches to greet everyone who comes near.
