I walk past this cherry tree with my dog quite often. The blossom seemed illuminated by the dark moody sky behind it. I painted it with lots of textures using flowing blends of paint in the background and impasto marks to the foreground and tree blossom using a palette knife, brush and sponge!
This painting is now sold, but limited edition giclee prints are available here on Artfinder and from my website
