I have always loved the Cherry blossom trees in Springtime and wished to pay homage to the amazing colour's. I began with photographic reference as the basis to this artwork then used metallic paint to add that extra shimmer I was looking for in a more impressionistic style. The background changes depending on the light hitting the canvas, which I love. The contrast between the dark trunk and branches and the pink/red blossom and the pale blue sky really makes the colour's pop. The sides of the canvas are painted so it is ready to hang if you do not wish to have it framed. I will add hanging hardware on the back before sending out.

Signed on the back, all original artwork includes a certificate of authenticity and are ready to hang.
