The Chelsea Flower Show in London is the world’s greatest flower extravaganza with stunning garden designs and gorgeous floral designs. It is held for five days in May by the Royal Horticultural Society in fashionable Chelsea. It is teering with blossoming gardens and beautiful wildflower meadows, it’s is like a sea of flowers, from the most delicate baby pink to green and blues. The setting sun in London spreads a pearly pink glow and pretty shades of beauty are everywhere.

By building up many layers of texture and colour, using brushes and palette knives, Angelika creates a rich surface and vibrant relationships between random shapes and deliberate markings in her work. She also uses charcoal and oil pastels to heighten the botanical impressions and create depth and movement in her paintings. The drips in Angelika’s work illustrate the endless cycle of growth and decay in organic structures, which again is a reflection of life itself.
