Artwork description:
I enjoy walking and being outside. I've begun to really appreciate nature and love seeing different birds when I'm out and about. I usually have to look them up when I get home. Nevertheless, I'm learning. This print is of a colourful chaffinch which I think is a stunning bird. He's a reduction linocut so the lino block is cut away for each colour applied. It is all done by hand so each image is totally unique as they all differ slightly. 'Chaffinch' is an small edition of 12 and is printed with water based ink. It is numbered, titled and signed with my initials in pencil on the front.
The image measures 7.5cms x 7.5cms approx.
The paper measures 15cms x 20.5cms.
The print comes in a cellophane print bag and is posted by Royal Mail special delivery in a reinforced envelope.
