Original artwork description:

"Cat" is painting from my Animal spirit series. The whole series is inspired by the wilderness and the symbolical meaning of the animals.

Just like in the other images from this series, I tried to capture the wild mighty nature of the animal by letting the power of water and colors spontaneously make "the incidents" on the paper and after that I was building its features further in layers.

Here are some of the features this amazing animal has:

Patience, waiting for the right moment to act
Independence, yet enjoying social connections
Spirit of adventure, courage
Deep, relaxed connection with self
Healing from the inside out
Curiosity, exploration of the unknown or the unconscious
