Original artwork description:

This handsome cat was not for moving! Definately too cosy on the cushions and sheets. Across part of the canvas material has been draped to give the impression of the bedding and chosen because I like the birds hidden amonsgst the monotone pattern.

I start the canvas with a rough pencil sketch and then I add material before building up the layers with acrylic paint. The last thing I add are the embellishments of thread and glitter to pick out or highlight certain areas.
