Artwork description:

Limited edition photographic print of the wonderful swirling organic ceiling in Casa Batlló, Barcelona, Spain. A striking architectural image that would make a great focal point in any room.

I took this shot on a recent visit to Barcelona where I fell in love with Gaudi's work. Casa Batlló was built in 1877 by Antoni Gaudi, originally a classical building without remarkable characteristics. But in 1904 Josep Batlló hired Gaudí to design his home; and rather than tear down the building he completed an ambitious renovation that completely changed it. The local name for the building is Casa dels ossos (House of Bones), as it has a skeletal organic quality.
A single exposure high dynamic range (HDR) image, merged using Nik HDR Efex Pro 2 and Photoshop to bring out the texture and detail.

This is a run of limited edition prints measuring 29.7 x 42 cm and numbering 150 is printed using archival quality inks on photographic acid-free lustre paper. The print is numbered, titled and signed on the reverse and care notes are included to help you make the most of your purchase. See additional photos for examples.
