For this linocut I drew a single carnation from the garden I'd placed into a vintage 1950s vase from my collection of unusual ceramics. I experimented with various colourings, but decided to use the bright yellow I'd used on my Snowdrop linocut, in case people wanted a companion piece. I may well experiment with other colours in future. A two block lino.
