A gestural abstract work responding to the exploration of upland bodies of water storing and converting carbon for us.
The painting is on stretched gallery-wrapped canvas over a wooden stretcher frame. Hanging fixtures will be attached to the back of the painting making it ready to hang or to be framed to your preferences.
I immerse myself in the environment , in nature, and then from there will come the forms, born from my knowledge and experience and from studies of gestural abstract expressionist artists, such as de Kooning, Clyfford Still, Gerhard Richter, Antoni Tapies, Mark Rothko, Franz Kline, Robert Motherwell, and Lawrence Carrol.
