Original artwork description:

The artwork is a depiction of a view captured by the author in Downtown Los Angeles. The painting is a result of the artist's emotions of a day spent in the area of Chinatown.
The Capitol Milling Company was one of the oldest industrial businesses in Los Angeles and is located directly adjacent to the State Historical Park, China Town, and the China Town Metro Station. The project is composed of 5 different buildings dating from 1881, all with a rich architectural heritage of exposed brick and heavy timber framing.

Facades of the buildings shown in the painting are mixed with street art motifs. The artist used various media such as digital print, acrylic paint, structural gel and scraps of paper ripped out of magazines and posters.

The artist draws inspiration from the heritage of artists such as Robert Rauschenberg, Jackson Pollock or Andy Warhol, but also adds his own street art and architecture style layer. Most pieces by the author are inspired by specific places he had been to and impressions he had while being there.

Artwork is hand-signed by the artist at the front and the back of the canvas.
Certificate of Authenticity included.
Has a shiny layer finish.

Materials used:

digital print, acrylic paint, markers, ink, paper
