Original artwork description:

What could be nicer than gliding down the Canal du Midi with your best friend!? Birds twittering in the air, the early morning sun just starting to warm the air and heading for a lovely little Auberge along the canal for lunch! It's enough to set anyone's tail quivering!
This collage is made on a heavy cotton and I have used various cotton fabrics to create the Plane trees and the flowers along the canal. The actual canal is made both of fabric strips but also gouache that I have thinned right down and sponged onto the fabric. I did the same with the sky. The canoe is made from a red cotton fabric and the dogs are a soft cream cotton. Everything has been stitched on using black thread for contrast as has the canal wall.
The title of the collage has been embroidered on the front as has my signature. The collage is backed with a white cotton. I am selling this collage un-framed.
