The smell of cinnamon is without a doubt one that more than any other brings me back in time to my childhood years. Either as a stick or as a powder, my mother would always use add it to sweets, made of very few ingredients. The scent of cinnamon would expand from baked goods fresh out of the oven and fill the whole house. Sticks of bark rolled up like ancient scrolls, with warm shades that remind me of gold.
This is the second drawing in my collection.
