Calabria in Italy has beautiful beaches and fabulous light. As the sun sank low one evening, I captured the base image for this work. Painting water is at times, simple. At other times, it can be very complex. For this work, it was the latter, but I tried to convey the beauty of sunlight on water and the tranquility and eternity of the seashore.
