After walking and sketching in the Langdales in the English Lake District a number of works were produced that have gone into one of my galleries. However, I do sometimes keep work back and this painting is one of two that have been reserved in my studio. As is often evident in my work I will venture off the beaten track and with this series I have painted hills and fells that may be sometimes overlooked - as well as more iconic scenes. This is echoed in these two paintings also - which have been built up in layers and a bold impasto style.
Signed by me on the front - my work is usually available framed but these paintings are offered at a much reduced figure without.
