Brighton is one of my favourite places to visit for a day trip. Nothing can beat a bit of sea air, especially in the winter when you feel cooped up inside for too much of the time. And for me a stroll along the pier is a must, watching the games being played, and the gifts being sold, and of course the traditional seaside and fairground food of hot dogs, candy floss and toffee apples. I usually have to have something. And of course there's new foods to try too. To me Brighton a few things make Brighton: The Lanes, The Pavilion and the Pier.
