Artist's description:

My latest linocut, Brent Geese in the Morning uses a subtle colour palate to show a group of Geese on the waters edge one morning in March. The waves are gently coming in as the birds have a rummage in the sand.

Linocuts are a form of printmaking developed in the early 20th century when artists such as Picasso experimented with the technique. I love working in this medium and use it to create beautiful prints of the British coast. The compositions and colours give the prints a lovely nostalgic feel and remind people of past holidays and places.

Each linocut is hand printed using an antique cast iron press with oil based inks on archival paper. Five carefully carved lino blocks are used to make the print, one for each colour.

A limited edition of 50, each print is signed and numbered. It comes mounted in a cream acid free mount (mat) and wrapped in cellophane and tissue paper.
