David Bowie was a true artist, not simply restricting himself to music but living through the creative act in his life. He painted for most of his life, creating post-modern and surreal works of art. For Bowie, like most, it was a form of meditation. In 1998, he told The New York Times that painting “was about problem solving” 🙏🏼
This statement really inspired Paul to paint this as he can relate to the use of painting as a form of meditation.

‘ Bowie' was painted in April 2023, in Paul Hardern studio in Cheshire, England.
As the one-and-only owner of this original work of art, you’ll be able to appreciate the delicate, detailed brushwork and hazy mists of spray paint. Look closely, and you'll see painterly textures and brushstrokes - something photos just can't do justice.
