A Eurasian Bullfinch is the first of many intimate portraits of birds from the Rhone Alps to come.
A project of documentation to bring myself closer to the wildlife of this extraordinary region. The Bullfinch was an obvious starting point, as who could miss that shockingly pink chest!
I wanted to produce a field diary aesthetic to break down the wall between the page and the mountains just beyond my window.
