I love white flowers. I find them incredibly delicate. Peonies, daisies, roses, lilies of the valley, or cosmos, are depicted in this picture.
When my husband saw the picture for the first time, he exclaimed: "What beautiful daisies!"
I was upset that I could not convey the image of this delicate flower.
Then I realized that many men do not know the names of many flowers very well.
After all, all the women who have seen the picture say that these are cosmos.
I'll tell you a little about the technique in which this still life is painting. The method is interesting; it is called differently by different artists and performed in different variations. I am not the discoverer of this method, but I drow with this technique in a convenient way for me.
It's wiping the paint in the right places to a white canvas. And in shady areas remains the density of colour.
Then there is the refinement of small details.
In this case, the preparation of the canvas plays almost the primary role in painting. I take fine-grained flax, glue and prime in several thin layers.
In this way, the smoothness of the canvas is achieved; this is necessary so that the paint can be easily erased in the right places.
