The stretch of coast between Byron Bay and Ballina on the northern coast of New South Wales has some of the most dramatic beach views and headlands you will find anywhere in Australia.

You could say it's an artists dream.

I have had the good fortune to visit there a few times now and will go back first chance I get.

This particular view is of Boulder Beach and I just love the play of colour from the warm earth oranges in the rock face, against the bright greens that are bouncing the midday light around.

A joy to paint and a must return destination.
