This painting is in acrylics onto box canvas approx 1.5cm deep. 18 x24 inches in size.
My favourite place has to be in a forest when the bluebells are flowering. We spotted this clearing in the Lake District and I just couldn't believe my eyes, and couldn't leave until I had spent hours just sitting and looking at the beauty of it.
After painting the acrylics, I added gloss resin to the surface to give it a fabulous shine, and then I've added more layers of paint and some real flowers sitting in a further coat of resin. It took serious time to produce this painting and I love it so much I immediately want to create more!
