A large, portrait aspect meadow painting. A vivid, bright and bold blue sky sets the background for this artwork. Predominantly in blues greens and yellows. A joyful Summery scene, Buttercups mingle with Daises, Cornflowers and other meadow flowers.
Painted in an expressive, free and gestural style.
Inspired by my love of the countryside and wild flowers, and my many walks in the Lancashire countryside.
Painted onto a professional quality stretched canvas using gold standard acrylics.
Sealed with acrylic varnish to protect the surface of the canvas.
