A part of me wants to call this painting "a caprice" -- just because it was so much fun to swirl the paint around with a paint shaper into these circles, but in fact, I worked far too long and hard on this little (10x10x2) painting. Clearly there's the suggestion of flowers, roses, most likely, bunched together in a bouquet, and, although the painting is of the "all over" variety, the effect is pleasing, due, I think, the the grouping and variations in colors and hues. Dominated by turquoise and cobalt blue, bright red and rose read, and amber figure into the whole, along with copper and white and purple highlights.
