This painting is compiled from my photographs and impressions of Provence.
Early morning. Mountains in the fog on the horizon. Fields of sunflowers recede into the distance.
And beautiful lilac sage grass underfoot.

The artwork with oil pastels.
I fixed the pastel layer in a particular way.
After finishing the painting, I fixed the pastel layers with hot air (from a hairdryer). In this case, the pastels are sintered. And it becomes as strong as dried oil paint.
And I also covered the picture with a thin layer of acrylic varnish. Therefore, it is not necessary to protect the painting with glass.
