I like this bright summer flower. When I walk around the village in June, I always look for fireweed bushes with my eyes. Many more of these beautiful flowers are on the village's outskirts, where my favourite road to the lake begins. Someone seems to have spilt large barrels of paint in all shades of lilac and pink around.
In Russia, this plant has another name for Ivan tea.
And this is no coincidence! When real Chinese or Indian tea was scarcely available, they drank a drink made from fireweed in Russia. And it has not only a pleasant taste but also some medicinal properties.

I painted a picture with a palette knife; you can see the raised prominent strokes in the photo.
Don't worry about preserving the oil painting; it has dried up long ago. You can be sure that the oil layer will not crack.
This painting is framed in a baguette and sold in a baguette. Don't worry about keeping it safe; I will pack it in a very lightweight yet durable material.
