Original artwork description:

At first glance, this may seem like a simple abstraction, but the image of a blue bird emerges — a symbol of freedom. The bird appears frozen in a moment of struggle, its freedom disrupted by thin entangling threads, reminiscent of plastic fibers in the ocean.

The thick tempera strokes resemble dense layers of water, saturated with paint — like an ocean filled not only with water but with the imprint of human presence.

The blue bird — a creature of air and sky — finds itself submerged in a viscous environment, trapped in a web of disorder. Likewise, the human being, striving for freedom, becomes entangled in the threads of the subconscious, anxiety, information noise, and the environmental consequences of their own existence. Pollution is not only physical, but also mental.

Materials used:

Tempera, gel pen
