Artist's description:

Birkin Beakheads II

Inspired by the incredible carved stone arched doorway of a small medieval church in the county of North Yorkshire, UK. One of the beakhead beasts is slightly misaligned as if he might fly away at night and rejoin the flock at first light.

This is an original reduction lino print (limited edition of just 10 in these colours). Printed from a hand-cut lino plate in shades of blue onto Zerkall printing paper. This print is presented 'loose' (ie unframed and without a mount/mat) but send me a message with your frame size if you would like to discuss the addition of a hand-cut mount/mat.

Materials used:

hand carved lino and oil based ink
