Artist's description:

Quite cheeky, the little bird in the cherry tree, maybe he is waiting for a fat bug, or maybe he is thinking, "I can't eat more cherries!!"

I have painted my bird and tree on a stretched canvas, with acrylics and it comes ready to hang. I almost always start by giving the entire canvas a coat of dark paint and then paint my way up to the lights, I love the way it goves real depht to the lighter tones.
For a bit of fun, and life, when you walk past the canvas, I add small pieces of mirror
( see the detail photo) they glint in the light, and I just adore the effect.
I have also painted the edges with image so it really does not need framing, but of course, you can frame it if you want.... once the acrylics have dried, I have varnished the image with a UV varnish for longevity.

The painting is signed on the front, and on the back.

The size of the stretched canvas is 33 cm x 41 cm (13" x 16") and it comes complete with 2 eyelets and string ready to go on the wall.

I ship the paintingfrom my studio in Denmark, and it comes flatpack, sturdily packaged, to arrive safely.
