Soft pastels on museum-quality wooden board, 18" x 24" x 1/8". Requires framing under glass, and will be packaged with a cover of glassine paper to protect the surface. This landscape of autumn trees in snow was inspired by a scene of brilliant golden yellow foliage contrasting with the icy tones of snow and birch trunks. The dark patterns of markings on the birch trunks and tangled web of branches ties the whole composition together.
