My work contrasts the speed of gestural painterly marks with the slow precision of hand embroidery. This small study expands the edges of the work with collaged additions that grow out of the surface area of the paper. These works with expanded edges are intended to be float framed. The work is also pictured in my studio, hung on small magnets, which gives an alternative method to hang.
