I love these magnificent examples of Victorian engineering .... such intricate decoration on such functional forms .... they've always been a fascination to me, especially the way they're slotted in to the urban landscape. Many of them have been demolished and these two beauties by the regents canal in Bethnal Green are now under threat by developers.
