Beinn Ime Sunset – watercolour painting by Julie Arbuckle
This watercolour original painting is of the sun setting behind the hills to the North of Arrochar in the Scottish Highlands. The viewpoint is specifically from Beinn Ime (3316ft) in July around 10:30pm.
I was treated to a glorious sunset from the summit and although the sky was washed in pink and gold, it was bitterly cold!
Sold in a professional double mount with a pink slip to emphasise the warm colours in the sky. Main mount colour is white (see photos). Painted on thick 425gsm Bockingford paper.
