Before the Wolf is the fifth work in my brand new series of atmospheric landscapes, inspired by some of my favourite places to be, and designed to be mix'n'match.
High above Plympton, Hemerdon Ball is a tiny plantation of beech, oak and Scot pine that crowns a one rotund hill top. Since the arrival of a mining company the landscape has changed shape, farms and houses razed and our beloved trees are under threat. This work is my response to the raping of our landscape.
Painted with a mineral pigment that granulates adding magnificent texture to the painting, there is an irony in that mineral beneath the trees roots are likely to be their doom.
This work is offered unframed but mounted in a neutral colour quality mount.
A word about shipping and packaging-
All my works are well packed and safe from harm but because I recycle some external packaging it might not look pretty.
This painting will be sent in the UK via Royal Mail Special Delivery within 5 working days.
