Limited edition photographic print of autumn in the beech woods at Cissbury Ring, South Downs, UK.

I took this shot on an autumn stroll around Cissbury Ring, the largest hill fort in Sussex (second largest in England) with history dating back over 5000 years. Set high up on the South Downs, the views on a clear day reach as far as the Isle of Wight some 40 miles away. Lower down the ramparts there are pockets of ancient deciduous woodland, these fantastic old beech trees showing off their autumn colours.

This is a multiple exposure high dynamic range (HDR) image created from a single original image to bring out the full variety of tones in the leaves. Merged using Nik HDR Efex Pro 2 and processed in photoshop to accentuate the colours and soften the contrast.

This is a run of limited edition prints numbering 150. The print is numbered, titled and signed on the reverse and care notes are included to help you make the most of your purchase. See additional photos for examples.
