Artist's description:

Gabriel insists that this bear was once a series of maps focused on the topography of an old forest - which was cut down to make the maps. Eventually the maps grew tired of this absurdity and decided to express themselves as a bear. Gabriel says he was walking around a large nature reserve when he came across this bear amongst many colourful flowers and plants. On his arm perched a parrot by the name of Poll, and the bear loved Poll. So much so, that the bear decided to have this tattooed on his arm. It just goes to show, friends and compassion are sometimes in places where we wouldn't expect them to be.
