One of my favourite beach sites on the east coast not too far from home. Abstraction is something I like to do just to capture the essence of the scene. I love to just give the impression rather than a photographic image.
I have taken the time on this painting to make my own canvas in the traditional way and it was well worth the effort with the way the paint has laid into the canvas. Such a lovely paint effect.
