The artist's intention was to convey the metaphorical analogy drawn from their experiences while being treated in a hospital alongside both civilian and military patients. After listening to tales of commanders and their strategies, the artist recognized that these commanders perceive soldiers as mere pawns to achieve their goals. The depiction symbolizes the notion that soldiers are utilized by commanders regardless of the alignment with reality, compelling them to fulfill tasks set before them. The frame of the artwork is composed of an Italian baguette and features anti-reflective glass, making it ready to hang and enhancing the overall presentation.
