When barley gets above knee high the rows are just still visible and create patterns across the landscape. These fields stretch out a long way and are set up for large scale agriculture. There are plenty of hares in amongst the crop but bird scarers boom out from time to time to keep the wood pigeons away. In some ways it looks like a classic English landscape of rolling hills but in reality it is manufactured by the needs of farmers and the markets. I'm not sure how I feel about that but I still find the landscape fascinating.

Printed on 300 grm acid free paper in water based and oil based inks. The actual printed image size is 695 x 345. When I have framed this size print I have mounted them to fit a frame 850 x 500. This is an edition of only nine prints which are hand printed and as a result each print is unique. This large print will be delivered unmounted and rolled in a tube.
