This Ink Drawing is part of an ongoing series that I have made inspired by the incredible Banyan Trees that can be found in Taiwan. This particular one is in Nangang Park near my home in Taipei City. I really enjoy drawing and studying these trees and seem to find human and animal shapes and echoes in the incredible root formations. This particular tree caught my eye because of the interesting shapes and angles that some how remind me of a dog sitting with its two legs in font of it! I don’t know if anyone else would agree! This Ink Drawing on brown paper was drawn in my sketchbook and built up in layers of hatching and cross-hatching to define edges and create the shape, tones and shades of the tree’s weathered bark.

Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver worldwide at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
