Original artwork description:

This was painted “en plein air” from Laem Tong Beach on the beautiful Phi Phi Don Island in Thailand. I wanted to show the different colours of the water from the shallow greens to the deeper darker ocean blues. The shallows near the beach were almost crystal clear and the submerged coral gardens cast beautiful shadows under the surface. I also liked the contrast between the bright dry areas of sand and rock and the darker wetter areas of sand and underwater coral. As I was doing this picture the tide started coming in causing the small waves and frothy ripples.
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver worldwide at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
