This original Balinese Temple watercolor painting is 9"x12" ideal for a small space in your home. It's a beautiful painting of a Balinese water temple called Pura Ulun Danu on the shore of lake Bratan in Bali, Indonesia.

Pura Ulun Danu Bratan, or Pura Bratan, is a major Hindu Shivaite water temple in Bali, Indonesia. The temple complex is located on the shores of Lake Bratan in the mountains near Bedugul. Built in 1633, this temple is used for offerings ceremony to the Balinese water, lake and river goddess Dewi Danu, due to the importance of Lake Bratan as a main source of irrigation in central Bali. The 11 stories of pelinggih meru dedicated for Shiva and his consort Parvathi.

Lake Bratan is known as the Lake of Holy Mountain due to the fertility of this area. Located 1200 m above sea level, it has a cold tropical climate.

Bali is popular for it's temples, culture, food, beaches etc being a tropical paradise this island of a mainly Hindu population has lots to offer and if you have traveled to Bali than this would be a nice memory to keep.
