The best stroll down a country lane involves rounding the bend to a scenic vista, with autumn foliage to color your walk. This scene had such a romantic feel to it, I wanted to give it a bit of edginess by using a palette knife for great textures. The result is thick, rich Graham oil paints bursting with some of my favorite fall hues. This painting is about a country road and fall colors, but it's also about playing with paint for a whimsical artistic mood.
