Surge. Chop. Tumbling ebbing turquoise water. 'Atlantic Energy' draws on the energy and motion of the Cornish bays and inlets. The aquatic energy created by the relentless swell from the atlantic is expressed in this acrylic painting that Paul painted on location in Bude, Cornwall. He has spent years exploring and sketching around Cornwall, The Hebridean islands and Guernsey and expresses his resonses to the energy and the fleeting coastal and Island weather patterns through intuition.
