Original artwork description:

When confronted with enormity of space, our universe, and our place in it, it is amazing we have the will to continue as a species. However, that is the very reason to embrace every second we have, in spite of our insignificance. I like pontificating on the idea of being face to face with that moment before speghettification and what my thoughts would be. My assumption would first be "oh shit!" then I think I would settle into the awe of it. Knowing that my information, the matter and essence that makes up ME, would never be lost, if quantum theory holds true, and this is how I would actually live forever.

This work is on 65lb cardstock with spray paint, cutout cardstock and ink.

Materials used:

Ink, spray paint, cardstock cutout on cardstock
