Rather than climb the tourist route we drove further up Glen Nevis to allow us to approach The Ben from the rear. This allowed us to summit via the arete, a most spectacular high ridge. We were fortunate to choose a day when the top was clear of mist and the views were spectacular.
This was painted from photographs and memories when I returned home. It is mounted to suit a 18x14" standard frame. It is signed on the back and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
