Apple Inc.
First there was Apple music. Home of the Beatles.
Inspired by them, Steve Jobs named his company Apple as a tribute.
This painting features a still life apple where we have the background becoming a part of it, in the same way the apple is part of the background.
Such is the nature of Apple technology it has become an everyday part of life.
I am so excited to present this painting on Artfinder. It is very unique in that it was a collaborative effort between myself and fellow Artfinder artist Preston M. Smith. This has been in the works for over two years now and is the first piece in our collaboration, but the second to be completed! It was painted on two different continents/countries.
It began in Los Angeles U.S.A with Preston painting an abstract in his trade mark style. colourful and wonderfully textured. The painting, once dried, was shipped to me in Perth Western Australia. I then waited until I had an idea I thought would work. Sticking with my trademark, a palette knife apple, I thought of the concept described above. I was able to paint something I would normally paint and at the same time able to incorporate Preston's style to bring them together seamlessly.
This piece is a wonderful collaboration and combination of two of unique styles. It is both a beautiful still life and vibrant abstract painting wrapped up in one.
● Signed on the back by both artists and includes my Certificate of Authenticity.
● Ready to hang with sides painted dark grey. Almost black but a little warmer.
● Varnished for UV protection.
